Our Accounting and Finance team plays a critical role in ensuring accuracy, transparency, and financial health across every phase of construction. Our internship program is designed to provide real exposure to construction finance in a fast-paced, professional environment.
Internship Overview
The Construction Accounting & Finance Intern will support the accounting and finance team with day-to-day financial operations related to active construction projects. This role offers hands-on experience in construction accounting, job costing, budgeting, accounts payable and receivable, and financial reporting within a real-world setting.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with accounts payable, including invoice review, coding, and data entry
Assist with accounts receivables, including tracking billings, payments, and follow-ups
Support job cost tracking and cost coding across active projects
Assist with invoice reconciliation and vendor/subcontractor records
Help organize and maintain financial records related to projects, vendors, and clients
Assist with budget tracking and variance reporting
Support month-end close activities and internal financial reporting
Gain exposure to construction-specific accounting practices, internal controls, and financial workflows
Work closely with project managers and office staff to understand how financial decisions impact the field
What We’re Looking For
Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Comfortable working with spreadsheets and financial data
Interest in construction, real estate, or project-based accounting
Professional communication skills and discretion with confidential information
