Paid Summer Marketing Intern – Be the Voice Behind the Brand!
Are you an experienced magazine publisher ready to take full ownership of a new project—starting day one?
Real Hearing USA is seeking a skilled and self-directed magazine publisher to lead the creation of our first-ever print and digital magazine tailored to a niche healthcare audience. This is a hands-on, independent role—ideal for someone who knows the publishing process inside and out and can hit the ground running without training or supervision.
This summer, you’ll shape the voice of a healthcare brand with a mission: helping people hear life more clearly. You’ll work on real projects, gain real experience, and build a portfolio that stands out.
We’re passionate about helping people rediscover the sounds that make life meaningful. Our skilled audiologists and hearing professionals understand the unique challenges of hearing loss. Whether patients are exploring hearing solutions for the first time or seeking advanced support, we provide expert guidance, state-of-the-art devices, and continuous support to help them live fully and hear every moment.
What You’ll Do:
Design and launch our first branded patient magazine
Write and publish a monthly newsletter
Create content calendars and post on Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn
Develop brochures, flyers, and patient education content
Work with leadership on strategy, storytelling, and analytics
Minimum Requirements:
Lead the end-to-end development of a print and digital magazine, from concept to publication
Design and publish using digital publishing tools like InDesign, Issuu, HeyZine, or similar platforms
Coordinate directly with printers, distributors, and digital publishing vendors
Ensure the publication aligns with brand standards, timelines, and strategic goals
Experience using Instagram, Facebook, or similar platforms
Understanding of engagement rates, CTR, ROI, and audience growth
Strong time management and organization in a fast-paced setting
Great communication skills—you’ll collaborate with senior leadership
Bonus if you’ve used Facebook Ads Manager, Google Analytics, or Hootsuite
Preferred Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s program (Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field).
Working knowledge of Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or other design tools.
Creativity, curiosity, and a team-focused mindset.
Self-starter who can immediately take ownership of the magazine production without onboarding or hand-holding.
This role is for professionals only. If you need time to get up to speed on tools or the publishing process, this may not be the right fit. We’re looking for someone ready to lead from day one.
This is a remote position.
