    Job Title: Pain Management Nurse Practitioner (NP/APRN)

    Location: Venice, Florida Facility: The Heart Institute of Venice Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time

    Job Summary: The Heart Institute of Venice is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pain Management Nurse Practitioner (NP/APRN) to join our growing medical team. The ideal candidate will have experience in evaluating and managing patients suffering from acute and chronic pain conditions, developing personalized treatment plans, and collaborating with physicians and healthcare staff to improve patient outcomes and quality of life.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and evaluations related to acute and chronic pain conditions.

    Develop and implement individualized pain management treatment plans.

    Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with state and federal guidelines.

    Assist with or perform pain management procedures such as joint injections, trigger point injections, and other interventional treatments when qualified.

    Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.

    Educate patients about pain management strategies, medications, and lifestyle modifications.

    Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).

    Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated patient care.

    Qualifications:

    Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP/APRN) with a valid Florida license.

    Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Adult-Gerontology NP preferred.

    Experience in pain management, orthopedics, neurology, or related field preferred.

    Strong clinical assessment and patient communication skills.

    Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
