    Position Summary

    We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Paint Line Loader to join our 1st. 2nd & 3rd shift operations. This position is responsible for preparing, loading, and unloading steel parts on the paint line to support the production of high-quality pallet racking systems. The Paint Line Loader plays a critical role in ensuring products are properly cleaned, coated, and inspected before shipment.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Prepare steel components by cleaning and scraping parts using hand tools and wire brushes to remove rust, scale, and other contaminants.
    • Load and unload steel parts onto and from the automated paint line with proper handling techniques.
    • Use an air gun to blow off dust and moisture to ensure optimal paint adhesion and prevent rust spots.
    • Perform visual and manual spot checks to detect paint imperfections and correct minor defects when necessary.
    • Work cooperatively with team members to maintain workflow and production targets.
    • Follow safety protocols and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
    • Communicate any equipment malfunctions, quality issues, or workflow disruptions to the shift supervisor immediately.
    • Take direction from the Paint Line Lead to reduce downtime and maintain operational efficiency.
    • Remain on feet throughout the shift (excluding breaks and lunch) while performing physical, hands-on labor.

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
    • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is a plus.
    • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment.
    • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
    • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions.
    • Willingness to work overtime as needed, including weekends.
    • Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.
    • Willingness to follow painting techniques trained.
