Scott Manufacturing Solutions Inc. is looking for a Paint Supervisor who will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the paint department within our manufacturing floor. This role ensures that all painting processes are executed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with quality standards and production schedules. Responsibilities: Supervisory Responsibilities: Supervises team members who directly report to this department, as well as working alongside other managers and directors to ensure goals are met. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following satisfactorily; other duties may be assigned. • Supervises and coordinates the work of the employees in the Paint department. • Prepares work schedules, assigns work, and oversees the work product. • Conducts daily huddles with department team members to ensure all goals and tasks are on schedule. Will also update production boards with accurate information. • Ensures operations and employees follow proper policies and procedures. • Determines proper layout for various work assignments and what equipment and materials will be necessary. • Checks quality and condition of equipment; assigns tasks to individual team members and provides instructions as to how the work will be completed. • Instructs new employees as to specifications and procedures of the company and department. • Inspects work in progress and upon completion. • Ensures conformance with quality, safety, and production standards. • Participates in a variety of work activities related to Paint operations. • Skillfully uses and demonstrates the operation of a variety of power equipment and hand tools.
