    PaintJet is redefining the industrial painting market by introducing advanced robotics, AI and material sciences to optimize the coating process. Our automated approach tackles the systemic labor shortage by focusing on increasing painter productivity and precision application while reducing material waste. We are hiring a proficient and experienced Business Development Representative to help us grow our business within the Phoenix, Arizona, market and surrounding Southwest region.

    In this highly visible role, the Business Development Representative will grow our customer base and establish our reputation in your assigned region. In this position, you will be responsible for presenting our PaintJet Robot and services to potential clients, identifying specific consumer characteristics and recommending ways to promote and sell our services within your assigned region. To be successful in this role, you should have excellent communication abilities and be highly motivated to meet sales goals.

    As PaintJet's Business Development Representative, you will:

    • Act as a point of contact for existing and potential customers within assigned territory
    • Identify local business opportunities and challenges
    • Report on regional sales results (weekly, monthly, quarterly and annually) to the VP of Sales
    • Present the PaintJet Robot and services to prospective customers
    • Identify customer needs and recommend product solutions
    • Work closely with other internal teams to meet individual and group sales quotas
    • Answer customer questions about features, pricing and additional services
    • Cross-sell services, when appropriate
    • Collaborate with other Business Development Representatives from different territories to share best practices and support a cohesive sales approach

    Education & Work Related Experience

    • 2+ years of sales experience in sales, preferably as a sales development representative or sales manager
    • Familiarity with painting and construction industry is a plus
    • Proven track record exceeding sales goals and metrics
    • Experience with Pipedrive CRM software, preferred
    • Degree or a Diploma in Marketing or Business Administration is a plus

    Salary Range: $65,000-$80,000 base annually + commission

    Work Hours: This position requires the incumbent to be available during core business hours

    Work Location: Remote with travel to job sites

    Travel Requirements: This position requires the incumbent to travel often within 40 miles of Phoenix, Arizona, and then through the Southwest for up to 40% of the time
