    Job Summary

    We are looking for a skilled and reliable Painter/Carpenter to join our remodeling team. This position involves performing carpentry work, surface preparation, painting, finishing, and general remodeling tasks for residential and/or commercial renovation projects. The ideal candidate has experience in construction, attention to detail, and the ability to complete high-quality work efficiently and safely.

    Responsibilities

    • Perform rough and finish carpentry for remodeling projects
    • Install and repair drywall, trim, molding, doors, cabinets, flooring, and framing
    • Prepare surfaces for painting by sanding, patching, caulking, and priming
    • Apply paint, stain, and finishes using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment
    • Measure, cut, and assemble building materials accurately
    • Read and follow blueprints, drawings, and project instructions
    • Maintain a clean and organized job site
    • Operate hand tools and power tools safely
    • Assist with demolition and site preparation when needed
    • Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met
    • Follow safety procedures and company policies at all times
    • Communicate effectively with supervisors, clients, and team members

    Qualifications

    • Previous experience in painting, carpentry, or remodeling required
    • Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and tools
    • Ability to perform both interior and exterior work
    • Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
    • Ability to lift heavy materials and work in physically demanding environments
    • Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

    Preferred Skills

    • Experience with residential remodeling projects
    • Drywall finishing and texture matching
    • Cabinet installation or refinishing
    • Flooring installation experience
    • OSHA safety certification
    • Ability to read measurements and basic blueprints

    Physical Requirements

    • Frequent standing, climbing, bending, kneeling, and lifting
