Our painters perform a variety of tasks such as assembling scaffolding, surface preparation, sanding down old paint, filling in drywall holes, mixing paint colors, and painting our hotel. The ideal candidate should be comfortable talking with managers to understand their needs. Ideally, you have experience with a variety of paint surfaces and materials, and are comfortable using hand and power tools to get the job done. If you're ready to get started, apply today! Responsibilities: • Treat painted surfaces with primer or sealer • Leave the work area clean once the project has been completed • Protect trim, floors, fixtures, and furniture from paint using drop cloths and covers • Build scaffolding when needed • Mix paint or stains to customer’s specification Qualifications: • Applicants that are detail-oriented and possess strong time management and communications are preferred • Driver’s license required • Knowledge of basic painting materials and tools is preferred, but we will provide training • Physical strength, stamina to stand for long periods of time, and dexterity is required • We prefer candidates with 2 years work experience and a completed apprenticeship, but not required Compensation: $17 - $20 hourly
