Compensation: $25 – $30/hour, based on experience

The Role

We’re seeking a professional, detail-oriented individual to join our production team. You’ll be responsible for preparing, mixing, and applying paints to signage projects using Matthews Paint Products per industry standards. When painting tasks are not required, you’ll operate a CNC router, sign assembly, miscellaneous fabrication tasks and help with installations as needed — making this a hands-on, flexible role.

What You’ll Do

Receive, organize, and track paint materials and supplies.

Clean, prep, and prime surfaces for painting.

Mix paints to the correct color formulas, ensuring consistency and quality.

Apply paint accurately and evenly, meeting industry and company standards.

Maintain a clean and organized paint booth, mixing room and production areas, tools, and equipment.

Follow all company and OSHA safety procedures.

Collaborate with teammates to meet deadlines and quality expectations.

Assist with shop fabrication or installations when painting tasks are not required.

What We’re Looking For

Experience with painting (signage, automotive, or industrial preferred).

Familiarity with Matthews Paint Products or willingness to learn.

Strong attention to detail and a “quality-first” mindset.

Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Excellent communication skills and ability to follow detailed instructions.

Willingness to assist across shop fabrication and installation when needed.
