Job Title: Painter’s Apprentice Reports To: Crew Leader / Lead Painter Location: Grants Pass Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time

Position Summary:

We are looking for a motivated Painter’s Apprentice to support our painting team on residential and/or commercial projects. This is an entry-level role with long-term growth potential. The ideal candidate is reliable, eager to learn, and shares our commitment to quality work and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in prepping surfaces (sanding, taping, patching, cleaning) for painting

Learn and perform brush, roll, and spray application techniques

Help with setup and cleanup of job sites, materials, and equipment

Follow direction from Crew Leaders and contribute to timely project completion

Communicate clearly with team members and respect customer property and expectations

Practice jobsite safety, cleanliness, and professionalism at all times

Requirements:

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Ability to pass a background check

Willingness to learn and grow within a team environment

Strong work ethic and punctuality

Physically able to lift 50 lbs and work on ladders or scaffolding

Strong communication skills and positive attitude

Preferred Qualities:

Desire to eventually lead, teach, or train others

Interest in growing with a company long-term

Basic understanding of painting tools or construction work a plus
