JOB TITLE: Project Manager
WORK LOCATION: Remote
DURATION: Contract to hire
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:Three (3) years or more experience with leading teams in the design, testing, implementation and support of new system enhancements and modifications
JOB DESCRIPTION & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides team leadership and hands on business analysis, development and support services for packaged and/or custom designed systems.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Mentor team members and functional system users in system best practices
- Project management of efforts include following client guidelines and use of proven project management techniques
- Work with business process team members (technical and functional) and subject matter experts (end users) to produce requirements and design documents.
- Develop technical and business relationships and integrate activities with other departments to ensure successful implementation and support of project efforts.
- Address business requirements and enhancements through design and implementation
- Create documentation which includes design documents, project proposals and project plans
- Perform functional testing to assure that business requirements are being met while following technical standards.
- Work with end-users to trouble shoot application issues or problems and recommend sound business solutions.
- Share and foster responsibility with other team members to ensure on-time product delivery or satisfactory application development and/or support
- Participate with other IT members, customers, and other stakeholders in new product reviews, tests and pilots
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Participate in support and upgrades as needed
- Foster and maintain good relationships with customer and IT colleagues to meet expected customer service levels
- Share and foster responsibility with other team members to ensure on-time product delivery or satisfactory application development and/or support
- Performs other duties as assigned.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree Related field.
Experience
- Three (3) years or more experience with leading teams in the design, testing, implementation and support of new system enhancements and modifications
- Seven (7) years or more experience in IT Project Management
- JDA TMS experience a must
- Manhattan SCALE WMS is a plus
SKILLS
- Ability to build strong customer relationships.
- Possess good coaching and consulting skillsStrong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to express complex technical concepts in business teams
- Effective interpersonal skills.
- Project management skills. Planning and executing large-scale projects from vision through implementation. Able to work on cross-functional project teams and foster team commitment to tasks
- Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, workgroups, customers, supervisors).
- Flexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment.
- Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.

- Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up practices
