PALISADES FUNDING CORP, located in Montville, NJ has a full-time position available for a RECOVERY SPECIALIST. We provide diverse lending solutions for our dealer network while promoting employee integrity, teamwork and an uncompromising level of customer service.

THE POSITION REQUIRES THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS:

• A minimum of 2+ years auto collections experience; back-end and subprime collections experience preferred
• Strong skip-tracing skill set; experience with auto recovery preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; previous experience communicating with vendors a plus
• Must have a working knowledge of the Fair Debt Collections Privacy Act (FDCPA)
• Adaptability, determination and drive
• Strong team player
• Strong organizational skills and strong computer skills
• Strong ability to multi-task and ability to effectively prioritize daily workload by level of importance
• Bi-lingual preferred

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Employee will have access to personal identifiable information (PII) and business confidential information
• Negotiate account resolution utilizing a strong collection and skip-tracing skill set; accurately input and document all actions within the collections system
• Independently work assigned accounts to locate customer and/or collateral by performing advanced loss prevention activities to resolve accounts upon initial contact via collections efforts striving to minimize company loss
• Basic and advanced skip-tracing with the use of internal and external skip-tracing resources
• Monitor and measure performance of third-party repossession agents and other outside vendors to ensure goals are achieved in the most cost-effective manner
• Ensure all company policies and procedures are adhered to
• Alert management of potential risk exposure
• Other duties as assigned

THE STANDARD HOURS FOR THIS POSITION ARE:

Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 6:00 pm; with one late night shift each week, 10:30 am to 8:00 pm; Saturday hours may be required based on future business needs.
