  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    • Schedule : Monday through Friday, no weekends or call coverag
    • Average Census : 4–6 inpatient consultations and follow-ups per day
    • Collaborative Team : Work closely with physicians, APPs, social workers, pharmacists, chaplains, and nurses
    • Environment : Supportive, patient-centered, and mission-driven care culture

    Primary Responsibilities

    • Provide inpatient consultative services for palliative care patients, including symptom management and goals-of-care discussions

    • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure a coordinated, patient-focused plan of care

    • Support smooth care transitions and promote respect for patients' preferences and values

    • Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and optimize use of healthcare resources

    • Contribute to daily team operations and participate in quality improvement initiatives

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Board Certification in area of specialty (required); Palliative Care certification preferred

    • DEA and controlled substance registration (required)

    • Inpatient, hospitalist, acute, or critical care experience strongly preferred

    Compensation: Pay Range: $104,416-$144,102 annual salary (Compensation is determined based on years of experience as an advanced practice provider).
