About the Company:

Our client, an esteemed healthcare facility in Las Cruces, NM, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Cardiovascular Services to join their dynamic team. It is a 199-bed medical/surgical teaching hospital dedicated to "Making Communities Healthier." Located in sunny Las Cruces, New Mexico.

Position Summary:

As the Director of Cardiovascular Services, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing all aspects of cardiovascular operations, including staff management and mentoring, policy and procedure development, accreditation maintenance, and budget accountability. You will be responsible for the strategic direction and leadership of the cardiovascular service line, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and achieving operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and mentor a dedicated team, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
• Develop, implement, and enforce policies and procedures to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the cardiovascular program.
• Prepare and maintain accreditation requirements, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Assume accountability for the program's budget and productivity goals, driving financial sustainability.
• Lead program development initiatives, staying at the forefront of cardiovascular advancements.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care outcomes.
• Utilize your clinical expertise to provide guidance and support to staff.
• Demonstrate exceptional human relations and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; MSN, Healthcare Administration, and MBA strongly preferred.
• Minimum of seven years of healthcare experience, with at least three years in a leadership role.
• Previous experience in a for-profit hospital environment is highly desirable.
• Strong background in program development, budget and productivity management, and clinical expertise.
• Current NM RN license and BLS/ACLS certification.
• Proven track record of effective leadership and team development.

Compensation:

• Competitive salary ($125,000 - $150,000)
• Signing bonus
• Relocation assistance up to $10,000
