Role and Responsibilities: As a Registered Nurse in our Emergency Room, you'll be at the front lines of providing critical care to our patients during their most vulnerable moments. Your responsibilities include directing ancillary personnel to ensure the effective implementation of the patient's care plan. You will have mastered essential skills specific to the emergency room, including rapid assessment and decision-making. Charge responsibilities may be assigned, and your practice will strictly adhere to the South Carolina Nurse Practice Act, Code of Ethics for nurses, hospital policies and procedures, and Nursing Standards of Practice.

Requirements:

• Education: Ability to obtain and maintain a South Carolina Nursing License.
• Experience: Previous experience is preferred, but we welcome new graduates with a strong interest in emergency nursing.
• Certifications/Licenses:
  • Current South Carolina/Compact RN license.
  • BLS certification required before the first clinical shift (issued by the American Heart Association).
  • ACLS certification is required, and new grads must obtain ACLS within 6 months of hire.
  • PALS, CEN, TNCC, and ENPC certifications are preferred.
