Palmer Johnson Enterprises is seeking a Controller to join our dynamic team in Sun Prairie, WI. The Controller will be responsible for all financial aspects of Palmer Johnson entities including financial reporting, business budgets, forecasts, internal controls, and more. This is a hybrid role that will require weekly visits to the office.

About the Opportunity

As the Controller, you will contribute to the financial success and growth of the enterprise while also managing and developing a high-performing team. You will be responsible for monthly financial reporting, business budgets, forecasts, and internal controls. Additional responsibilities and tasks entail GAAP compliance, cost accounting, business analysis, market and product segmentation, cash flow management, audit compliance, and strategic planning.

• Do you have demonstrated experience & comfortability working in multiple software platforms on a daily basis?
• Are you analytical and proficient in using data to solve problems?
• Are you able to write, read, and interpret routine financial reports and correspondences?
• Are you confident with developing and maintaining financial policies, procedures, and internal controls?
• Do you have experience overseeing day-to-day accounting functions, including AP, AR, cash flow, payroll, and general ledger?
• Do you have experience evaluating investment opportunities and potential acquisitions?
• Do you have a Bachelor's degree (Master’s degree preferred, but not required) in Accounting or Finance and are a licensed CPA?
• Do you have public accounting experience (preferred, not required)?
• Do you have 3+ years of management experience?
