Our fast growing preschool site in Stockton is looking for a full OR part-time Montessori Teacher who is loving, caring, self-motivated and has passion in early childhood education. Job Duties

• Lead, teach and operate Montessori classroom of children age 2-6
• Train, supervise assistant teachers, provide feedback and follow through
• Collaborate with other teachers in overall school operation
• Communicate with parents on children's performance, conduct parent conferences
• Communicate and work with director on classroom operation, progress and issues etc.
• Setup up and clean classrooms and other area in the facility

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older

• Must have high school diploma or its equivalent (GED), associated degree or higher is preferred

• Must have 12 ECE (Early Childhood Education) units

• Must be Montessori AMI / AMS Certified or equivalent

• 4 years Montessori experiences in an early childhood facility

• Additional Infant & Toddler class units are preferred

• Passion on teaching and working with children

• Integrity, hardworking, team collaboration

There are 4 classrooms throughout the whole facility. Each classroom has its own bathroom. There is a large outdoor playground with playground equipment for children 2-5 years old and fulfills children’s needs for exercising and play.
