    Your Career

    Reporting to the Head of Legal Operations, this role will be supporting a high-performing global legal team by leading the operational and technical functions of the contract management systems and processes. This role will oversee our CLM digital transformation project to automate, simplify and streamline our contracting processes; as well as oversee the contracting operations including the administration, processing, storage, and reporting associated with all corporate agreements.

    A successful candidate will be expected to provide pragmatic, creative, collaborative, and solution-oriented legal support throughout the company. This position requires an experienced communicator and problem-solver that must be able to prioritize effectively and drive issues to resolution within a team environment focused on growth, execution, and process improvement.

    We expect office-based employees to be in the office four days per week, with one day working from where they choose. We believe being together facilitates casual conversations and those magic moments where we can work on issues and ideas informally. These moments build capability and deepen trusted relationships and allow our people to feel safe in taking risks and being disruptive. Like so many companies, we are working through the details and things could change …. but in general if a role is deemed office-based we want our teams to be together four days per week.

    Your Impact

    • Act as the Legal Project Lead for company-wide digital transformation projects that impact legal contract processes, which will include implementing a new contract management system and transitioning existing workflow automation solutions
    • Act as the administrator for Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) system, while developing and managing process documentation and ongoing support to legal and system users including system training
    • Maintain contract operations and enforce data integrity guidelines by performing quality-check and audits of systematized contract data to ensure its captured and properly completed
    • Manage legal intake processes and develop governance to implement system updates, contract template changes, and process change requests
    • Maintain contract templates, contract exhibits, revision change log, and revision communications and ensure the repository is configured for use by all appropriate user groups
    • Partner with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities to improve contract effectiveness and develop a plan to implement changes within workflow automation and contract management systems that enhances our legal service delivery
    • Liaise with Legal IT Product Manager, corporate IT, and vendor technical teams on technical solution design and delivery
    • Design, generate, and distribute reports based on legal and business team requirements
    • Keep current on the latest legal operations industry trends and developments and identify opportunities to implement best practices
  • Qualifications

    Your Experience

    • Previous corporate legal department or law firm experience is required
    • 3+ years of experience implementing and/or managing CLMs, and other contracting technologies (e.g. self-service tools, workflow automation, document builders etc) in global, matrixed environments (Experience with Ironclad is a plus)
    • 5+ years of experience of hands-on program/project management experience driving complex, cross-functional projects
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to develop and execute thought leadership presentations, as well as explain complex legal/automation concepts to a wide variety of audiences
    • Superior interpersonal skills to bring consumers, partners, and internal teams along on the journey to create program vision and implementation roadmaps
    • Advanced user of program management tools such as G-Suite productivity tools, SmartSheets, eSignature such as DocuSign or AdobeSign etc is preferred
    • Experience with G-Suite, Slack, Salesforce, Ironclad, Apttus, and ServiceNow is helpful but not required
    • Strong bias for action to get stuff done
    • A collaborative and empathetic team leader

    The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/com-missioned roles) is expected to be between $125,800/yr to $203,500/yr.
