YOUR CAREER
We are looking for a motivated, intelligent, hardworking and creative intern to join the Content IPS team as a Security Research Engineer. As a Security Research Engineering Intern, you will be part of a team that researches on network related vulnerabilities and creates detection to prevent attacks leveraging such vulnerabilities. You will be applying your network security knowledge on our Content IPS product to capture malicious activities. You will be working on our Content IPS team who builds automated systems, writes signatures to detect vulnerability attacks and spyware, performs vulnerability research and fuzzing.

Learn how network packets are inspected in network device
Gain hands-on experience coding and building in embedded system
Gain knowledge about basic network security, e.g. vulnerabilities and how to detect them.
Qualifications
YOUR EXPERIENCE
Minimum Qualifications
Solid programming skills in C/C++ or Golang
Basic understanding of common network protocols such as TCP/IP, HTTP, SSL
To apply, you must be pursuing a 4-year Undergraduate Degree, a 2-year Master’s Degree or a Doctorate degree and returning to school in the fall. You must have the authorization to work within the United States.
Preferred Qualifications
Solid experience programming in Python
Knowledge of linux system level programming
Experience of network vulnerabilities and detection

THE TEAM
Our Security & Dataplane Team is responsible for network traffic inspection and security on home routers. The areas include Linux Network Subsystem, IoT security, and network security.
