    YOUR CAREER

    As a Prisma Cloud Channel Systems Engineer (SE), you will be responsible for presenting the Prisma Cloud solution to System Engineers with our most strategic and impactful channel partners.  You will be accountable for gathering the partner’s technical requirements on selling and positioning Prisma Cloud. As an extended member of the Sales and Channels team, the Prisma Cloud Channel SE will align with the Prisma Cloud Sales teams and Channel Business Managers to create, update, and deliver the partner technical enablement and business strategy.

    Your relationships with partners will enable them to assist our mutual customers detect and prevent advanced cyberattacks and breaches by being their resource for all elements of the public cloud security environment, providing expertise for Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud (GCP), other Public Clouds, DevOps & Compute security i.e. containers, serverless frameworks, API security, web application security, cloud infrastructure entitlement management and hosts. Your technical sales expertise will drive confidence in our solutions, ultimately setting our partners up for success. You will be working with all levels of large partner organizations with a focus on developing partnerships based on a long term, “outcome where everybody wins” strategy.

    YOUR IMPACT

    • Establish yourself as a trusted advisor to Business Partners, Prospects and Customers working with your Channel Business Manager and the local partners within your territory

    • Provide technical enablement and training to strategic/national/international partners

    • Participate in business planning activities by supporting the development and execution of the partner technical business plan

    • Facilitate the preparation of partner Sales Engineers (SEs) in achieving Palo Alto Networks and industry certifications

    • Cross-communicate Prisma Cloud and partner value propositions, especially between partner and Palo Alto Networks field SEs

    • Understand and effectively present the Prisma Cloud Security Platform

    • Understand and communicate the business advantages of a partnership with Palo Alto Networks

    • Continuous self-improvement and learning to maintain technical leadership of applicable technologies

    • Educate and promote the use of Palo Alto Networks support model and effective use of available resources

    • Act as the Partner advocate for any issues that require technical assistance and follow up with the partner until the issue is resolved

    • Understand and effectively differentiate against our top competitors

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    YOUR EXPERIENCE

    • BSCS or equivalent with 3+ years of experience as a pre-sales engineer, solutions architect, or systems integrator

    • A minimum of (2) years' experience in (1) of the following core technologies:

      • Virtualization

      • Containerization, Docker, Kubernetes

      • Serverless

    • Experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, Oracle Cloud deployment and administration

    • Knowledge of designing and implementing cloud native security services in Public cloud environments

    • Understanding of Public Cloud API based security and compliance standards

    • Understanding of IAC (CFT/Ansible/Terraform), CI/CD (Jenkins /Bamboo /CICircle etc.) tools, Code Repos (Github, Bitbucket etc), Repository (Jfrog Artifactory, Redhat Quay, Docker Hub, AWS ECR etc)

    • Experience in DevOps desirable

    • Experience working with Channel partners and understanding of a channel centric go to market approach desirable

    • Open to travel up to 50% of the time as appropriate
