    YOUR CAREER 

    Seeking an innovative, results-driven Course Developer who can design and build immediately applicable (Just-in-Time), engaging, learning experiences for our engineers and developers. Courses may include but not limited to eLearning techniques, instructional design methodologies, videos, webinars, simulations, website postings and interactive tutorials. Whatever it takes to provide immediate executable knowledge and deliver effective learning. Graphical Design background a plus (ex. Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, animation and/or simulations clips).

    The Course Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, producing, and publishing security focused, technical learning content. The audience ranges from developers new to secure coding to engineers working with complex cloud security integrations. This contract position is based at our headquarters in Santa Clara, California with partial remote work possible. We'll especially want to talk to you if you've created learning content for past security related topics (ex. OWASP, cloud security, etc.), 

    YOUR IMPACT

    • Design and build out learning content modules for security focused, self-paced and Just-in-Time 

    • Experiment with new approaches to learning which scale and drive engagement such as xAPI

    • Deliver learning that is highly engaging and effective at empowering learner to immediately execute apply knowledge

    • Develop graphics and/or animations for eLearning modules, and occasional poster display, infographics, and/or newsletters for employee consumption

    • Collaborate with management and other stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate deliverables.

    • Develop built-in quizzes and tests to ensure information retention.

    • Use evaluation tools to measure the effectiveness of training materials.

    EDUCATION

    • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or equivalent training, education, and experience in information / cyber security, computer systems, IT, etc. Certification in CLPL w/ experience considered in lieu of college degree

    YOUR EXPERIENCE

    • 10+ years’ experience designing and creating learning content

    • Proven ability to produce content and deliver on complex project plans

    • Expert level skills in modern eLearning tools such as Adobe Captivate, Articulate Storyline, and TechSmith Camtasia, Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator, Adobe Animate.

    • 2 + years of demonstrated knowledge and experience in the Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate (ADDIE) instructional design model or equivalent model

    • Extensive knowledge of instructional design theory and adult learning principles.

    • Good design, written communication, production, and teamwork skills

    • 2+ years of experience developing technical systems content.

    • Basic understanding of HTML

    • Extreme bonus points if you have Cyber Security experience.

     

    EDUCATION

    • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or equivalent training, education, and experience in information / cyber security, computer systems, IT, etc. Certification in CLPL w/ experience considered in lieu of college degree
