    Your Career

    In this role, you will maintain the data lake for our Customers, construct data ingestion pipelines, and implement ETL processes to meet our business requirements. Collaboration with the Analytics team will be a key aspect of this role, as you will be working together to support the generation of various analytics outputs. These outputs will enable the business to efficiently utilize the data through interactive and insightful dashboards.

    This position requires a candidate who possesses strong technical skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet our organization's data and analytics objectives.

    Your Impact

    • As a Staff IT Data Engineer, you will be an integral member of our Artificial Intelligence & Analytics team responsible for design and development
    • Responsible for making an impact by providing various metrics for multiple business function such us commissions, HR and others
    • Build data profiling and ETL jobs using heterogeneous sources
    • Help build the technical foundations for cloud analytics
    • Be constantly challenged by tough engineering and design tasks
    • Supports Big Data and batch/real time analytical solutions leveraging transformational technologies
    • Partner with data analysts, product owners and data scientists, to better understand requirements, finding bottlenecks, resolutions, etc.
    • Mentor junior data engineers
    • Have basic level of expertise in the areas of data governance, data quality, MDM, information management, metadata management and information exchange
    • You will have the ability to research and assess open source technologies and components to recommend and integrate into the design and implementation
    • You will also have opportunity to work closely with our data science team and work on various business critical predictive use-cases

    Your Experience

    • 7+ year of experience with the Hadoop ecosystem and Big Data technologies
    • Strong knowledge of JAVA/Python, SQL (MySQL, Big Query), data structure and algorithms is must
    • Experience with Data Engineering in multi cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure. etc..)
    • Basic understanding of SPARK programming and prior experience Big data system
    • Experience in products like Apache Kafka, Confluent Centralized Schema Registry is a plus
    • Understanding of data governance and data profiling concepts is a plus
    • Experience in working with REST API services is a plus
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple simultaneous priorities
    • Effective problem solving and analytical skills

    The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between $123900/yr to $201300/yr.
