    We are looking for a motivated, intelligent, hardworking and creative intern to join the Consumer Product Device Team as a Software Engineer. As a Software Engineering Intern on the Device Team, you will be part of a team that builds our consumer device operating system and provides best networking and security functionalities in its class. You will be applying your operating system knowledge to our consumer product operation system to improve the quality of the product and offer the best user experience. You will also have the opportunity to work in the Cloud Big Data environment to mine different aspects of the product behaviors and come up with innovative solutions for issues potentially shown by the Big Data.

    YOUR IMPACT

    • Ensure that consumer device operation system metrics and logs are sufficient to describe all aspects of the device’s behaviors

    • Build Cloud Big Data applications to mine consumer device behavior data and look for anomaly

    • Build solutions to address the consumer devices’ issues learned through Big Data applications

    YOUR EXPERIENCE

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Good understanding of Operating System principles and fundamentals

    • Experience with Cloud environments and technologies, such as GCP or AWS

    • Experience with Python, Go, Java, or C/C++

    Requirements – To apply, you must be pursuing a 4-year Undergraduate Degree, a 2-year Master’s Degree or a Doctorate degree and returning to school in the fall. You must have the authorization to work within the United States.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Basic understanding of common network protocols and web technologies such as TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS

    • Currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in a related field
