    The Palo Alto Networks TechDocs team directly helps our customers improve their security posture to best protect against cyber threats. As a part of the R&D organization, we work hands-on with products throughout the development cycle to serve as the voice of our users and ensure that our customers know how to use our products in a way that will give them the best possible security posture.

    In this role specifically, you’ll lead the charge in developing content to help our customers quickly and easily set up their secure access service edge (SASE) environments. You and your team will collaborate with product management, engineering, UX, and QA teams to develop content to help our customers provide secure access to the data and applications their users need regardless of their location.

    YOUR EXPERIENCE

    • Must have knowledge in network security, SD-WAN, or networking

    • Proven track record of leading writing teams

    • Experience planning and managing complex projects

    • Adept with team collaboration and release tracking tools (Jira and Confluence, G Suite tools)

    • Proficient with source control tools (Perforce, Git)

    • Experience with topic-based writing (DITA or XML authoring)

    • Video tutorial creation (Camtasia)

    • Experience using digital adoption tools to create in-product walkthroughs a plus (Pendo)

    • Strategic thinker—You’re always looking ahead- you’re able to anticipate what’s next and are thinking about how we can meet our users’ needs not only today, but tomorrow as well

    • Transparent communicator—When tracking and coordinating projects, you communicate project goals, dependencies, and deadlines to all stakeholders- you like to make sure that everyone is working with the same information, you work towards building consensus, and you set expectations effectively
