    YOUR IMPACT

    • Understand our markets in cybersecurity, as well as the broader landscape in which we operate such as networking, data center, remote / branch office, public cloud and other areas.  
    • Identify key cybersecurity trends and also broader shifts in the IT landscape
    • Conduct primary research on our markets, including gathering and validating third party estimates, as well as developing first-party estimates.  Some of this will be in areas that are new or where a unique approach will need to be taken in existing markets.  Connect with peers across the company to arrive at estimates
    • Perform valuation analysis of both our company, others in our industry as well as potential targets of acquisition or investment employing a variety of methods.
    • Support the work lead by Corporate Development team members at all levels.  This will include a set of deliverables where you will have primary responsibility and other deliverables where you will contribute to team output.  There will a need / opportunity to support Corporate Development Leads in their due diligence and deal process.
    • Drive analysis and deliver recommendations in a data-driven manner
    • Lead a fast-paced and thorough cross functional due diligence process
    • Synthesize and up-level insights and opportunities to the cross functional team and senior management
    • Develop and present high-quality recommendation and deliverables (PPT, Word, etc.) for executive level consumption and contribute to associated strategy and execution discussions
  • Qualifications

    YOUR EXPERIENCE

    • 2-4  years of relevant work experience in private equity, venture capital, investment banking, top-tier tech corporate development teams, or management consulting (McKinsey, Bain, BCG preferred).  Experience in our markets or those immediately adjacent is a requirement.
    • Strong modeling skills, especially in working with concepts that are not well defined and will evolve.  An emphasis on market modeling, vs. three-statement models is preferred.
    • Demonstrated experience in valuation using a variety of methods such as comparable company analysis, regression of large data sets and discounted cash flow.  Strong understanding how variables impact valuation and an ability to apply judgement in selecting valuation methods.  Prior experience in transaction modeling is a plus but not required.
    • Effective verbal and written communication abilities and comfortable with discussions with senior audiences
    • Great teammate and willingness to operate primarily in a supporting role initially (with room to grow).  Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally.
    • Self-starter who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments with minimal supervision at times.
