Principal Technical Program Manager - Product Team (Expanse)

We are looking for a resourceful, versatile Principal Technical Program Manager to support product/feature initiatives and scale the TPM practice of Expanse, the latest addition to Palo Alto Networks Cortex.
The Expanse Internet intelligence platform continuously surveys petabytes of data to find risks online and protect the world’s largest organizations from malicious software and hackers. In this role, you will own cross-functional execution across multiple programs and help define our processes as we continue to scale a Program Management Office (PMO). Specifically, you will lead:
Cross-functional communications and collaboration: you will be the bridge between our Product Development teams and the rest of the company
Policy Operations: you will work cross functionally across many teams to help refine and drive the creation and ingestion of new policies into our product.
Feature and product launches: you will collaborate with the New Product Introduction (NPI) team and Product Marketing to classify, schedule, and plan releases of new products or functionalities as well as driving and refining our product release lifecycle.
YOUR IMPACT
Identify risks and dependencies for current and upcoming projects
Build relationships with technical and non-technical stakeholders across the organization to keep teams unblocked and on track
Ensure that teams across the company are aligned on priorities and key objectives
Assist in building quality, scalable processes across the business unit and org
Qualifications
YOUR EXPERIENCE
8+ years of professional experience as a Program Manager in a technical environment
Experience with agile development methodologies and engineering teams
Proven ability to walk the fine line between process and execution: you can create and scale an effective process while also remaining flexible to changes
Your are detail-oriented yet you never lose sight of the big picture, which helps you break down ambitious projects into parts and execute effectively
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to a variety of audiences
Desire and ability to thrive in a fast-growing, cross-functional team; you are able to collaborate and share candid feedback with colleagues
Prior experience in NPI or product operations is nice-to-have, but not required; however it is important to have interest in this space.
