    Expanse is seeking a Cyber Solutions Engineer to expand our technical post-sales capabilities as we embark on the next phase of hyper-growth. Cyber Solutions Engineers work closely with a large number of different roles within Expanse ranging from Developments teams and Product Management, to Product Marketing, Sales, and other teams within Enterprise Solutions. As a Cyber Solutions Engineer you will act as a force-multiplier and customer partner to help them achieve their business goals through technical expertise.

    This role can be remote or based in our offices in New York, NY, Atlanta GA, Washington, D.C. or San Francisco, CA.

    YOUR IMPACT

    At Expanse, the Cyber Solutions Engineer is tasked with wearing many different hats. Duties include:

    • Presenting Expanse and its home-built and partner-owned integrations to prospects and existing customers.

    • Working closely with Product and Engineering to design, debug, and enhance product integrations and APIs.

    • Serving as an internal stakeholder for our API and product development, documentation, and training materials.

    • Serving as a technical expert during POVs (proof of value) and helping translate customer requirements into technical specifications and aid in developing onboarding plans.

    • Providing the scripting prowess to support other members of Enterprise Solutions as they work to solve customer challenges.

    • The ability to deep-dive and take ownership of integration categories, products, and technologies and to share this knowledge with others within Expanse.

    • Researching and developing proof-of-concept solutions for new technologies and use cases as they apply to Expanse.

    • Develop and lead training on different security techniques, tools and technologies for Expanse’s sales and enterprise solutions teams.

    • Partner with Engagement Managers to plan and execute operationalization initiatives on strategic accounts.

     

  • Qualifications

    YOUR EXPERIENCE 

    • 3-5+ years of experience as a Cybersecurity Engineer, Technical Product Manager, or Software Engineer.

    • Customer Facing experience working with executives OR technicians in an IT or security environment.

    • Hands on experience using, building, or selling a product in the SOC, VM, EDR, TIP, or IT management space.

    • Solid understanding on API design and development and understanding of how enterprise software is built.

    • Solid grasp of web applications, web protocols, REST APIs, security, and Internet environments.

    • Strong communication and presentation skills, both verbally and written.

    • Experience installing, configuring, and integrating a complex Security environment.

    • Strong problem finding and solving skills, ability to analyze complex multivariate problems, and use a systematic approach to gain quick resolution.

    • Scripting/coding experience with a focus on Python, JavaScript, Go, or PowerShell.

    • Ability to travel up to 15%.
