We are looking for a brilliant Machine Learning Software Engineer Researcher that wants to make a career out of using machine learning to address security problems.  We want to address several practical and research of time series analysis.   A high percentage of machine learning interns join the Palo Alto Networks team full time.

Our Summer Internship Program from May-August or June-September provides you:

YOUR IMPACT

• Learn to apply Machine Learning in a production environment

• Advance state-of-the-art algorithms for time series analysis

• Work on distributed clusters with large amounts of data

Qualifications

YOUR EXPERIENCE

• Working towards either a BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science, or Statistics 

• Be an excellent programmer; experience with distributed cloud systems like GCP or AWS and containers like Docker a big plus

• Have a strong working knowledge of machine learning algorithms that may include XGBoost, CNNs, LSTMs, attention, transformers, GANs, etc.

• Be comfortable working independently, be able to produce something impressive in one summer, have the ability to come up with novel solutions to difficult problems

Requirements – To apply, you must be pursuing a 4-year Undergraduate Degree, a 2-year Master’s Degree or a Doctorate degree and returning to school in the fall. You must have the authorization to work within the United States.
