Job Description

The position is located in Colorado Springs, CO.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop new products and features using the latest technologies

• Own and improve existing products and features across the stack

• Provide technical input and knowledge to scrum team for the planning, design, and requirements process for new products and features

• Collaborate with other engineers to review code and participate in pair-programming

• Improve the performance, maintainability, and operations of the codebase

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION

• Desire and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You are comfortable wearing multiple hats, and learning what is needed to get the job done.

• Ability to scope, manage, and take responsibility for your own work. Excellent time-management skills are a must!

• Experience building applications with frontend technologies like HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript, including modern frameworks, such as Angular, React, or Vue.

• Experience with JavaScript test automation frameworks, such a Jasmine/Karma or Protractor

• Experience with Node.js and Express

• B.S. in Computer Science, or equivalent work experience

DESIRED QUALIFICATION

• Experience using Angular

• Experience with C++

• Experience with D3 or similar data visualization packages

• Knowledge of Data Structures and Algorithms

• Interest in building teaching tools and/or simulators
