Pet Groomer - Full or Part-Time Pampered Paws West Grooming is looking for a full or part-time pet groomer for our busy salon. We are open seven days a week and can offer flexibility with your work hours. We handle appointment scheduling so you can concentrate on what you do best -- Grooming! We are a "no drama" salon with a talented and easy-going team of groomers. Responsibilities: • Meet with clients to discuss their grooming preferences and address any concerns • Bathe and perform scissor cuts and shaving services on pets • Advise pet owners of any skin issues, health problems (such as parasites, rashes, and wounds), or behavioral changes and promptly inform the owners • Discuss with pet owners suggested grooming frequency and/or any issues found during the grooming process Qualifications: • Minimum two years of professional pet grooming experience, which includes scissor cuts • Valid US work authorization • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively • Proficient in basic grooming techniques for different types of dogs • Knowledge of safety protocols and standards when working with animals Compensation: $60,000+ yearly
