We are seeking a Pet Groomer to join our talented team! You will be responsible for what you do best: Grooming. We have a receptionist staff to book your appointments. If you're looking for flexible hours/days Pampered Paws West Grooming is just for you. We are a high-volume salon with an easy-going group of groomers. No pressure, stress-free with lots of room to groom. Help is always available to our groomers who work independently without supervision. We are Kennel and Cage-free but not Roam-free. We would like our groomers with 1 year experience with a great personality to interact with our wonderful customers. 50% commission plus strong tips for a job well done. Responsibilities: • Meet with customers to discuss how they want their pet groomed and for information on any known problems • Experience with scissor cuts in addition to shaving down pets • Bathe and groom pets • Identify potential skin or health problems such as parasites, rashes, and sores • Monitor pets for physical and behavioral changes and alert customers • Meet with the customer at the conclusion of the groom to provide recommendations on how often a pet should be groomed and/or any problems encountered during the groom Qualifications: • Minimum 1 year grooming experience • Valid US work authorization • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively • Proficient in basic grooming techniques, including scissor cuts • Knowledge of safety protocols and standards when working with animals Compensation: $60,000
