    Job Description

    ACCOUNTANT/BOOKKEEPER

    Part-time opportunity for an Accountant/Bookkeeper to work remotely as a contractor. Ideal candidate will have full-charge bookkeeping experience using QuickBooks and a comprehensive understanding of accounting concepts.

    DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

    • Enter and process accounts payable and accounts receivable
    • Handle invoices, payments and vendor contracts
    • Record and categorize transactions
    • Book journal entries
    • Complete bank account and balance sheet reconciliations
    • Process payroll and maintain payroll reports
    • Preparation of financial reports and supportive schedules
    • Reconcile all accounts monthly
    • Audit of monthly reports
    • Ensure accuracy in the general ledger
    • Interact with tax accountants and book year end entries as necessary
    • Maintain office systems, procedures and compliances

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:

    • Bachelors Degree in Accounting
    • Minimum 3 years of full-charge bookkeeping/accounting experience
    • Proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel
    • Thrives at working independently under defined deadlines
    • Strong organizational and communication skills
    • Focused attention to details and achieving accuracy
