About the Role:
Join our dynamic team at Closets By Design St. Louis as a Panel Saw Operator! In this exciting role, you will play a crucial part in crafting high-quality custom storage solutions that transform spaces and delight our customers.
Responsibilities:
Operate panel saws to cut materials to specified dimensions with precision.
Read and interpret blueprints and work orders to ensure accurate production.
Maintain equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and quality standards.
Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications.
Assist in the organization and maintenance of the workshop area.
Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training is a plus.
Previous experience operating panel saws or similar machinery preferred.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
Familiarity with woodworking tools and safety practices.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods.
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
