PangoBooks is looking for a passionate book lover to provide support to our awesome community of book buyers and sellers. PangoBooks is a fast-growing marketplace for books where thousands of readers buy and sell books to one another every day. In this role, you will be a critical part of our team by helping customers through the process of buying and selling, and working to ensure an outstanding customer experience at every step.

Responsibilities:
- Communicating with customers through email and chat platforms.
- Listening to customer concerns and finding solutions for any issues that arise with specific orders or other situations.
- Giving users explanations of how to use different features on PangoBooks.
- Working with the team to develop better methods and features for managing customers and orders.
- Additional operational tasks related to day-to-day flow of orders on platforms.
- Assisting with other tasks including merchandising and curating site inventory, and collaborating with marketing team.

- Excellent written communications skills.
- Patience, empathy, and professionalism.
- Great problem-solving skills and decision-making capabilities.
- Basic computer skills, including web navigation, email, and other software.
- Effective time management and multitasking skills.
- Able to work in a remote team setting.
- Passion for, and knowledge about, books.
- Experience using customer support interface tool such as Intercom or Zendesk is a major plus.
- Knowledge and experience working with online book community is a major plus.
- Experience in the publishing industry, working in a library or related field is a major plus.
