Essential Responsibilities:
- Establish, maintain, and coordinate the implementation of accounting and control procedures
- Develop and maintain financial databases, software systems, and manual filing systems
- Bookkeeping: Generate and review accounting and related system reports for accuracy and completeness and resolve any discrepancies
- Process approved payments; make deposits and process accounts receivable, compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to accounts and document business transactions; perform customary period closing practices and reconciliations including journal entries.
- Time & Expense: Reconcile and post employee time and expenses.
- Wages & Benefits: process and account for payroll, 401(k) plan activities, and third-party administrator activities relating to flexible spending account plans.
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- 4-7 years relevant work experience
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Knowledge of accounting practices and procedures
