    About Savory

Savory is a full-service, boutique hospitality firm on a mission to elevate the corporate dining experience, making it fresher and more reliable with a focus on quality food experiences and hospitality excellence.

At Savory, we have a common thread that resonates through everything we do: PASSION! We are passionate about the creation of our menus, where our food comes from, and, most importantly, we’re passionate about our people and the hospitality we show to our clients, our vendors, and each other. Our rapid growth has prompted us to seek qualified individuals that will add a positive impact to our team and help shape the future of Savory.

About the role We are seeking a Pantry Attendant to join the team at Savory Hospitality at one of our onsite business dining spaces. Our ideal candidate will anticipate and address the needs of the company and our client with a heavy focus on food and beverage replenishment, safety, and high-end product quality. The Pantry Attendant will successfully set up, stock, maintain, and safely receive Savory commissary and pantry orders while embodying the full Savory spirit and providing exceptional hospitality at every step. Other essential duties include supporting the hospitality teams during downtime.

Our business dining experiences are one of our unique services that offer team members the experience of working alongside the Savory team as well as directly interfacing with our onsite client on a day-to-day basis.

This role is a key addition to our growing team. Here are some examples of the primary responsibilities of our onsite Pantry Attendant:

Embody Savory’s core hospitality standards at every turn, externally with our guests and internally with teammates

Assist in receiving and checking, and stocking food and beverage deliveries

Stock pantries and monitor inventory in applicable areas

    Assist in catering and events

Maintain tidy, clean, and stocked storage areas

    Track product inventory

Maximize downtime during shifts by proactively completing side work and assisting other teams/departments as needed

    What we’re looking for

At Savory, our people are at the heart of everything we do. We’re a tight-knit team of passionate, innovative culinarians who strive to live our values every day: authenticity, curiosity, collaboration, solutions, and community.

Your experience should show us the following:

Previous experience in hospitality or pantry

Proven ability to anticipate needs and multitask

Knowledge of Department of Health food safety best practices

A true team player: reliable, diligent, dedicated, communicative, and collaborative

    Job requirements

Capability to maintain a stationary position, often standing for prolonged periods in varying temperature conditions

Ability to repeatedly lift up to 25lbs

    DOH Food Handler’s certificate preferred

Willingness to work a daytime schedule, 7am – 4pm, Monday – Friday, and occasionally including nights, weekends, or holidays

In addition to a growth-focused, positive work environment, our talented team enjoys:

    Competitive rate

Company-sponsored medical plans, including health, dental, and vision insurance for all full-time employees after 30 days

    401K with employer match

Flexible Spending Account (FSA) and transit enrollment
