Job Description
Panum is looking for a Senior Acquisition Specialist. Prior experience with federal contracting and procurement is a must. The period of performance for this task is 1 year with several option years. we are looking for someone with expertise in Construction and A&E contracting.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The objective of this contract includes assisting in preparing acquisition packages by reviewing each package, ensuring that all required documents are provided prior to presenting the packages for approval. Work independently with little oversight by the Government and be experienced, skilled and knowledgeable in all aspects of Federal Government acquisition (i.e. requirements development, acquisition planning, solicitation development, proposal evaluation, negotiations, source selection, contract administration and contract closeout). Assist with non-inherently governmental acquisition and contracting support tasks (pre-and post-award). Have the ability to communicate, orally and in writing, with Program and Contracting personnel about the details of technical requirements, acquisitions, provide advice and guidance, develop and support complex acquisition packages.
