We are looking for a General Manager/Kitchen Manager to oversee all staff and operations of the local business unit. General Manager responsibilities include formulating overall strategy, managing people and establishing policies. Responsibilities
Enhancing each customers’ experience with the value of an appealing atmosphere in the restaurant. The General Manager will take responsibility for the following duties on a regular basis:
Ensuring incoming staff complies with company policy
Training staff to follow restaurant procedures
Working with Shift Managers to maintain operational standards and expectations
Reporting to executive management on the health of operations
Maintaining safety and food quality standards
Keeping customers happy and handling complaints
Organizing schedules
Keeping track of employees’ hours and recording payroll data
Reaching out to businesses and households to maximize catering orders
Ordering food, linens, gloves and other supplies while staying within budget limitations
Skills
Proven experience as a General Manager or similar executive role
Experience in planning and budgeting
Knowledge of business process and functions (finance, HR, procurement, operations etc.)
Strong analytical ability
Excellent communication skills
Outstanding organizational and leadership skills
Problem-solving aptitude
4+ years of industry customer service experience
