Responsible for data cleansing every cycle to ensure that the historical data is free of noise (or minimal), in order to get the baseline statistical forecast for each of the product (SKU). Incorporates the historical data adjustments in the system.
Analyzes the system-generated forecasts and checks and corrects for possible outliers that are unnecessarily creating an erroneous baseline forecast.
Reviews both Sell-In and Sell-Out performances of products and provides insights during alignment with PMG and CMD
Analyzes the impact of past initiatives and declared Marketing programs
Presents the baseline forecasts to Marketing and Distribution to provide an unbiased review of the division’s portfolio performance. Highlights the strengths and weaknesses of the products across major channels using sell-in and sell-out data.
Provides inputs on what programs would be advisable to implement given its historical sales increment
Presents the drivers of growth within the business portfolio as well as the SKUs that are falling behind targets
Aligns the forecast with Marketing and Trade programs which are identified to propel the performance of a certain product
Reconciles the forecast into an agreed set of figures.
Documents the agreements among DMG, PMG & CMD during Pre DRs and DRs
Makes the necessary forecast adjustments in the system and validates the upload of such numbers in SAP
Validates forecast data in SNP after forecast release
INVENTORY MANAGEMENT
Responsible for continuous optimization of inventory level by setting the optimum Target Days Supply for each SKU
Keeps track of the existing inventory and monitors the attainment of desired inventory levels
Monitors supply situations including replenishment and operational requirements (follow through with the different enablers—to address the missing links in the supply chain—while the system has some inefficiencies)
Provides recommendations on the necessary build-up or cutting of inventories which may vary on a case-to-case basis (DP-SNP Alignment)
Ensures to provide information based on demand patterns and product movement which may be relevant to decision-making of the marketing divisions when it comes to FG inventory management.
Reviews the warehouse inventory, good stocks and SDIs, for both SS and PS. Makes the necessary adjustments to planning activities, including the declaration of Potential SDIs for proper replenishment planning
Keeps track of the movements within the warehouse among the planning locations. Inclusion of CDO warehouse inventory may be necessary
Seeks & keeps track of the move-out plans for stocks that are no longer readily-available for selling
Provides Marketing a monthly report on inventory
