    Job Description

Parachute is looking to add a Microsoft M365 lead architect to our team.  You will consult with our clients and prospects to understand their business requirements, document, and review their existing application and hardware infrastructure, including networking equipment, servers, desktops (physical and virtual), and applications.  You will design and deliver Microsoft-centric solutions that align with our clients’ business objectives. Your focus will include M365 and SharePoint Online migrations and Teams consulting and deployments, and Azure Single Sign-on implementations. You will equally be responsible for end-point security and governance via the proper deployment of Azure Information Protection (AIP), Windows Advanced Threat Protection (ATP), Intune, multifactor authentication, backup and restore technologies, and real-time security and compliance monitoring via Lighthouse, Sentinel, and Azure log analytics.  You will be a member of the senior engineering team and will report to the IT Project Director.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Provide professional IT consulting services across the entire Microsoft M365 suite, including compliance, governance, and security.
    • Work with our clients to understand their current technology stack and how best to migrate them to Microsoft M365 or improve on and make greater use of their existing Microsoft subscription.
    • Understand available Azure workloads and articulate when a client’s requirements are best served with SharePoint Online and Teams versus Azure servers and services.
    • Assist the account managers in selling Parachute’s offerings through pre-sales consulting, providing project estimates, and co-authoring Statements of Work.
    • Depending on the project size and scope, act as both the lead delivery engineer and the project manager.
    • Update client documentation to align with the network’s current state and any new workflows resulting from the project.
    • Work with the account manager to obtain client acceptance on delivered projects.
    • Provide post-project audits, any needed project refinements, and updated checklists.
    • Provide on-going performance, compliance, and security reviews for completed projects.
    • Conduct compliance and security audits via the Microsoft Security and Compliance centers and 3rd party security auditing and detection tools.
    • Manage escalated tickets and make recommendations for both process improvements and improvements to the client’s current infrastructure.
    • Work closely with the account managers and field technicians to retain and grow client trust and drive adherence to company technology standards.
    • Help the team continue to develop pre-sales, implementation, and post-implementation checklists to ensure properly scoped projects, successful project deliveries, and satisfied clients.
    • Proactively share knowledge and know-how with your peers, field engineers, the help desk staff, and management.

    ESSENTIAL TECHNICAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

    • A bachelor’s degree, preferably in Information Technology or equivalent experience.
    • Formidable analytical and problem-solving skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
    • The ability to quickly establish relationships and earn the trust of clients and colleagues.
    • An analytical approach to ambiguous situations, with a demonstrated ability to articulate options and propose and implement solutions.
    • An influencer with a proven record of successfully navigating organizations through significant technical changes.
    • Experience in solution sales and writing and analyzing Statements of Work.
    • Expertise in migrating medium and large enterprise clients to M365 Business Premium, E3, and E5 licenses and services.
    • Expertise in migrating file shares from traditional servers to SharePoint Online.
    • Expertise in assisting clients in organizing Teams and SharePoint online for maximum efficiency and security.
    • Deep understanding of Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, AD Connection options, Azure Active Directory as a Service (AADDS), and making the proper selection for a given set of requirements.
    • A demonstrable record in the design, deployment, and maintenance of Active Directory security groups in large organizations.
    • Deep understanding of M365 products, including Intune, Azure AD, Azure Information Protection (AIP), and Modern Workplace practices.
    • A demonstrable record of updating desktop fleets to Windows 10 Enterprise or Professional and seamlessly installing the current Office 365 suite, Intune agent, and Microsoft multifactor authentication.
    • Proficient in using Powershell scripting to implement application and security setting changes across many clients, users, and devices in a consistent, expedient, secure, and repeatable manner.
    • A demonstrable record in the proper use of Identity and Conditional Access design and best practices.
