As the Product Owner of our Client Portal, you will play a crucial role in shaping the digital experience of our existing clients. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a team of dedicated professionals and leverage advanced technologies to deliver seamless and user-friendly solutions. You will be responsible for driving the development and maintenance of the Client Portal, which includes features such as Service Requests, Learning Management System, Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ), Request for Proposal (RFP) System, and AI Chat Solutions. The portal is built on AWS, and you will be required to collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation and continuous improvement of this platform.

Responsibilities:

• Act as the bridge between business stakeholders and the development team, effectively communicating requirements, priorities, and progress.
• Define and prioritize the product roadmap and ensure alignment with business objectives and customer needs.
• Collaborate with designers, developers, and QA teams to create user stories, acceptance criteria, and product backlogs.
• Drive the product development process from concept to release, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality execution.
• Continuously gather feedback from clients and internal stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and new feature ideas.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to stay abreast of industry trends and opportunities.
• Monitor and analyze user engagement metrics to identify areas of enhancement and optimize the portal's performance.
• Act as a subject matter expert for the Client Portal, supporting internal teams with training and documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Finance or a related field.
• 3 years experience in financial services
• 6 years experience in product development and product ownership
• Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role, preferably in a financial services or technology-driven organization.
• Strong understanding of life insurance products and the financial services industry.
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies and project management tools.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience working with AWS services and cloud-based architectures.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to drive collaboration in a cross-functional team environment.
• Ability to effectively communicate to stakeholders, user and development teams
