Paradise Cove Marina is located on Lake Travis, only 22 miles from downtown Austin. Positioned on the picturesque south shore of Lake Travis just off of Hudson Bend Road, the 181 wet-slip marina offers a premier location in Central Texas. Consisting of over 267 acres of land, Paradise Cove Marina offers a beautiful bounty for lake fun. Paradise Cove is one of the few marinas on Lake Travis that conforms to the amended Highland Lakes Marina Ordinance (HLMO) standards. Managed by a highly experienced and friendly staff while offering superior amenities, we encourage you to visit your boat’s next home.

Paradise Cove Marina is looking for a full-time manager in Austin, Texas. This salaried position will require 50-60 hours a week, including weekends.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Communicate with potential customers of the marina
• Must be able to handle accounts receivable and finances
• Create and organize employee schedules
• Ensures that safety precautions are being taken by all employees and customers
• Supervises store including inventory and ordering
• Guarantees proper controls for protection of marina assets and supply inventory
• Constantly seeks a way to promote and improve the marina
• Maintain the cleanliness of the marina and any upkeep that accompanies that

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience working in a marina
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Previous boating experience preferred
• Must be able to swim
• Must have a valid US Driver's License and pass a Motor Vehicle Record history check to operate boats
• Must be able to withstand prolonged standing, bending, walking, kneeling and lifting and/or moving objects up to 50 lbs. without restrictions
• Work area is usually exposed to extended periods outdoors in direct sunlight, noise and dust
