We are paragonfitwear.com and instagram.com/paragonfitwear! We make great quality women’s activewear at an affordable price. We’re proud to be a carbon neutral brand focused on providing women workout wardrobe staples, made to last, and at a price that doesn’t break the bank. We’re a direct-to-consumer brand and are online only. We're a very small team of 4 full-timers spread across the US, seeking to add new part-timers to help us with the steadily growing needs of our business. This listing is for Operations Manager - which will involve project management and execution as described below. We're so excited to be adding to the team and we can't wait to hear from you!

THE WORK

Your primary responsibility will be what we refer to as “post production”. When new products land, they have to processed, shot by photographers, distributed to our team of influencers, and prepared for release on our website. You will be responsible this part of the business, owning the process from start to finish, and ensuring that all sub-projects occur on time. We work primarily on Slack & Monday.com. Your work will include:

• Finding & scheduling models
• Organizing shoots with photographers
• Preparing our website (no coding skill needed)
• Creating documents with information about the new products for internal reference & also for distribution to our influence team
• Making sure that all the people involved in this process (photographers, admin support, fulfillment provider) all complete their work on time, managing them.
• Once you understand the process, thinking strategically about how to improve it

There will also be one-off projects or tasks, such as:

• Finding & vetting new photographers, building a rolodex of models sourced from Instagram in certain locales
• Distributing updated legal documents with our influence team & collecting signatures from all

The work could later involve management of our influence team, including outreach and onboarding.

This would be a long term role that could grow into a full time opportunity.

If you think you’re a good fit, in your message to us, please describe experiences in the past where you’ve had to exercise project management skills.

You’d be hired first as a contractor with a target end date, usually 1-3 months in. We always start with a trial. At the end date, we both evaluate if we’d like to continue working together. If so, you’d be hired as a W2 employee.

• Tech savvy (good with computers), familiar with Slack, G Suite apps like Google Docs, Google Sheets etc.
• A fast learner, able to operate in an environment where structure is rapidly changing, processes are in regular need of updating
