Job Description

The Accounting Specialist is responsible for the receipt and accounting of funds being paid to the organization, order entry, and working with our administrative team to maintain positive relationships with our customers. This role also serves as an auditor, ensuring that invoices are accurate and that proper accounting procedures are followed to account for the receipt of payment for goods and services completed by the organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Preparing invoices to be sent to customers via preferred methods
• Communicate with management on problem accounts
• Work with sales leadership to facilitate the resolution of payment concerns
• Maintain customer information
• Apply payments to accounts
• Initiate collections on delinquent accounts
• Other accounting duties as assigned

THIS POSITION IS LOCATED IN NORTHWEST HOUSTON

ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

15-18.00/HR.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

• A high school diploma is required
• 2+ years of A/R and A/P experience is required
• 2 years of QuickBooks experience is required
• 2 years of Spreadsheets experience is required

MATH ABILITY: Understanding of general accounting mathematics.
