Responsibilities: • Communicate clearly and sensitively with clients • Draft legal documents, including motions, complaints, and orders • Create and maintain case files • Facilitate the meeting of attorneys' deadlines by keeping organized schedules and providing timely reminders • Conduct legal research as needed • Track time accurately and consistently at the time that work is performed • Working in person with a team of associate attorneys in a fast-moving team environment Qualifications: • Experience as a family law paralegal preferred • Bachelor's degree or Paralegal certificate preferred • Integrity • Empathy • Strong work ethic • NC Notary or the ability to obtain one immediately if hired • E-filing experience preferred • Experience with Clio or similar software Compensation: $50,000 - $60,000 yearly
