We’re hiring a paralegal to assist our legal team in preparing legal documents, filing motions, coordinating law office activities, and conducting legal research. Responsibilities: • Work with lawyers to prepare for trial by conducting research on legal articles, preparing and organizing exhibits, organizing and coordinating witnesses, filing motions, and assisting with client meetings • Conduct interviews with clients to gather information about their legal issues • Draft subpoenas and coordinate with process servers • Organize our case filing systems to ensure all documents are properly sorted and easy to locate, and other administrative duties as needed • Draft legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence such as interrogatories, subpoenas, deposition notices, complaints, pretrial orders, legal briefs, and affidavits under the guidance of a lawyer Qualifications: • At least 3 years of experience in legal services under an attorney or lawyer in a law firm setting • Strong preference for candidates who have completed a paralegal professional certification or have an advanced paralegal education • Talented communicator and writer • Must have great time-management skills, and organizational skills • Experience in legal research and document preparation, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness. • Ability to organize and manage case files efficiently, maintaining easy access to all necessary documents. • Proven track record of working collaboratively with attorneys to prepare for trials and client meetings. • Strong communication skills for conducting client interviews and gathering essential information. • Proficiency in drafting legal documents, including subpoenas, pleadings, and correspondence, under attorney guidance. • Familiarity with filing motions and coordinating with process servers to ensure timely legal processes. • Detail-oriented mindset to manage administrative duties and maintain organized filing systems effectively. Compensation: $50,000 - $65,000 yearly
