Paralegal Position

Paralegal Position in commercial real estate transactions, representing
represent lending institutions, investment funds, and small to medium-size companies in
all aspects of real estate including financing, buying, selling, leasing and development.
We are seeking an experienced Paralegal in our Midtown NYC office to assist us in our
growing workload of commercial real estate transactions.
Specific Responsibilities include:
· Serve as a liaison with clients and any external counsel to facilitate closing
transactions.
· Assist Attorneys in all aspects of coordinating finance transactions from pre-closing to
closing;
· Reviewing title commitments and underlying title exception documents;
· Detailed reviews of surveys;
· Due diligence inclusive of ordering searches:
· Ordering and review of zoning reports; and
· Knowledge and understanding of REA documents and estoppels.
Qualifications:
 Must be currently working as a Paralegal or Legal Assistant for a law firm;
 Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Paralegal or Legal Assistant;
 Exposure to real estate transactions a must;
 Attention to detail;
 Strong ability to multi-task; and
 College degree or equivalent experience preferred.
