The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of estate planning principles and practices, exceptional organizational skills, and a genuine desire to help clients navigate probate and more complex legal matters. This role will involve significant client interaction and require a high degree of professionalism, discretion, and compassion. Responsibilities: • Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends related to estate planning and business planning • Assist attorneys in preparing and reviewing legal documents related to estate planning and business planning, including wills, trusts, partnership agreements, and corporate documents • Assist with estate and trust administration, including the preparation of pleadings, inventories, and accountings • Conduct legal research and analysis to support attorneys in case preparation • Maintain and organize client files, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality • Communicate with clients to gather necessary information, answer inquiries, and provide updates on case progress • Coordinate appointments, meetings, and court appearances for attorneys • Assist in the drafting and editing of legal correspondence and reports • Collaborate with other team members to ensure a smooth workflow and provide excellent client service Qualifications: • Must have completed an ABA-approved paralegal certificate program, such as an Associate's degree or proprietary school program in paralegal studies, Bachelor's degree is preferred • Detail-oriented • 3 years of experience in estate planning and probate administration under an attorney in a law firm setting Compensation: $20 - $24 hourly
