A well-established boutique law firm in Athens, Georgia, is seeking a Corporate Paralegal to support one attorney with their corporate/M&A practice. Key Responsibilities:
Draft and review transaction documents, contracts, certificates, closing statements, authority documents, and other corporate forms.
Handle entity formation and manage annual renewals for corporate entities.
Assist with preparation, review, and filing of corporate documents, agreements, and governance materials.
Maintain corporate records and ensure compliance with governance requirements.
Support mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions.
Manage deadlines, filings, and regulatory compliance tasks.
Maintain accurate time records.
Balance multiple projects and priorities efficiently.
Perform miscellaneous administrative duties as needed.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of corporate paralegal experience (law firm or in-house).
Strong background in entity formation, corporate governance, and transactional support.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across all levels of staff.
Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office and document management systems.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity.
