    Job Summary

    We are seeking a paralegal to join our legal team, primarily focusing on discovery document review and providing administrative support to a senior attorney. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in litigation, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to work independently while assisting the attorney in various tasks, including the preparation of expert binders and drafting templates.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Conduct a thorough and timely review of documents related to mass tort cases, including medical records, pleadings, depositions, and correspondence.

    Organize and manage large volumes of documents, ensuring proper categorization and identification of relevant materials.

    Assist in identifying key evidence and potential case strategies through document analysis.

    Prepare summaries and reports on relevant findings to support case development.

    Administrative Support:

    Collaborate with the senior attorney to prepare expert binders, exhibit lists, and trial notebooks.

    Draft and maintain templates for legal documents, correspondence, and pleadings.

    Manage attorney's calendar, schedule appointments, and arrange meetings as needed.

    Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and document retrieval.

    Legal Research:

    Conduct legal research to support case arguments, motions, and legal strategies.

    Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends.

    Client Interaction:

    Maintain regular communication with clients to provide case updates and gather necessary information.

    Assist in preparing clients for depositions, meetings, and trial testimony

    Team Collaboration:

    Work closely with other members of the legal team, including paralegals, attorneys, and support staff, to ensure seamless case management.

    Qualifications:

    Bachelor's degree or paralegal certification from an accredited institution.

    Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Mass Tort Paralegal with a focus on document review and administrative support.

    Proficient in legal research, document management software, and Microsoft Office Suite.

    Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

    Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

    Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations in mass tort litigation is preferred.
